A Brief History of M8TZ
The M8TZ Organisation was established in 2003. MATES is a Charitable Trust. Through a strength based initiative, M8TZ Programmes address many issues costing our communities dearly. The enormous social impact and emotional toll on families as well as the financial cost.
M8TZ is a network of everyday people of all ages, cultures and ethnicity (including teens, elders and lgbt+) who are trained to meet with a person in crisis or isolation at a local cafe, and provide emotional support and encouragement.
M8TZ are lowering the rising rates of Suicide, Family Violence, Depression, Relationship Breakdowns, Health Challenges, Criminal Activity, Addictive and Dysfunctional Behavior, Stress, Violence, Low Self-Esteem, Lack of Direction and Focus.
